Our client’s purchased this bungalow with a view to demolish it and create a stunning, architecturally interesting, sustainable multi-generational modern home. Their home needed to make the most of the uninterrupted countryside views but had to achieve this across one level. The brief was realised by complete demolition of the old bungalow and creation of a single storey modern home, with sleek grey slate tiles, and solar panels, full height glazing panes and cantilevered corner of the property with uninterrupted bifold doors on two sides. The single storey property gave our clients a huge open plan kitchen and dining space, complete with modern, bespoke Kitchen and large island and additional guest bedrooms thus meeting the brief of creating a home capable of catering for their Children and Grandchildren. The unusual cantilever design is a total triumph filling the space with light and stunning views.
